It's bright, includes a remote for quick access to presets (the remote doesn't have brightness control, nor access control to custom loaded animations) and it's powered via USB C (USB A to right-angle USB C cord included).\n\nThe software has a number of custom animation options you can load on to it, but the library isn't exactly what I would call extensive and the categories are mostly dupes of other categories. It does have a \"freehand\" mode as well as the capability to load your own media. It will stick to a shiny surface without additional adhesive, but only on the front side of the panel (also needs to be a dry, clean surface). Pre-cut adhesive foam strips are provided if you wish to attach from the rear, but the USB port can make this awkward.\n\nThe biggest negative I have is the device seems proprietary. It will not work with the \"other\" popular LED sign mobile app. I would love to get this working with WLED as well, but can find no dev information and the ICs are all blank (not laser etched off, just straight up unmarked). If app support ever ceases, so will the functionality of this LED sign outside of the pre-programmed options on the remote. It does have external access to pogo pin style pads for 5v, RX2, TX2 and GND on the back side, but again no information.\n\nIf you're looking at this based on the built-in features, I'd recommend. It's a large sign. For me, I wouldn't recommend front windshield placement. It measure 13 1/2 inches long, by 4 inches wide. So far it has stuck to the rear window of my vehicle well. The sign does need to be plugged in, which is a slight detractor. If you don't have an accessory outlet near enough, you'll be running and hiding wiring.\nThe remote works well and switches the sign effortlessly. If you do multiple rideshare apps, you can easily switch between them depending on the passenger you're picking up. If you're not doing rideshare/taxi/delivery, etc, there's emergency options as well. Not bad to have for your daily driver.\nThe app isn't exactly user friendly, but does give you more customization options. I found the remote was enough for me.\nMy one complaint is that this sign has to be plugged in. I'd like to see smaller/more (higher resolution/more densely packed LED's) as some of the text is sort of hard to read, and having additional LED's to make more precise representations would make this MUCH better... but it will suffice As Is for cars behind me at a short distance.... they'll get the message.\n\nI'd like to see them design this product to be placed in BOTH the rear AND front of your vehicle. I MAY be wrong, but I can find no way to reverse the display so people in front of me would be able to read it in their rear view mirror. Some messages are entirely suitable for drivers in front of you too.\n\nThe LED's are bright and the display is very quick to respond to all of the selections from the remote control.\n\nThe Remote Control comes with several useful preprogrammed options. The company also offers a large amount of downloads AND Customized Graphics/Messages through their app, however I have only read the literature that came with the product and have not yet investigated the security aspect of their software... this is very important to me if I'm going to install anything on my personal devices... so I'll hold off on any comments about that until I have had time to research that aspect.\n\nOverall it seems well made and thought out, with a tacky surface for 'sticking' it to the glass in your vehicle AND adhesive strips for more permanent placement. It comes with a VERY long USB A to USB C (45 degree) power cable that you should be able to EASILY route from the front to the back of your car with plenty of cable to allow for hiding it under carpet or trim.\n\nThey Warn against forcefully removing the sign if it has adhered 'too permanently' to your window/windshield do to excessive/prolonged heat exposure, as it will very likely ruin the sign if you do, so park in the shade OR better yet remove it when not in use. They claim excellent customer service... Even in the afore mentioned situation... but better not to have to test that.\n\nThis will be a fun addition to my daily drives and has the potential to be very useful in dangerous conditions (think reflective triangle on the highway) and will keep you much safer in your vehicle. Also useful to alert/obtain assistance if you don't have cell service where you break down. I remember the great Twentieth Century advertising signs in big cities with all kinds of moving graphics in lights. This unit reminds me of those, and since well before I was permitted to drive, I have wished there were such a thing for the rear window of my car. This appears to be exactly it, and before I'm dead too, not a bad deal. And not only can one insult seventeen generations of somebody's family with this, you can say nice things to people, or make a pass at someone! Tastefully of course...\nThis thing is fun. There is a foldout sheet of instructions that I tried several times to read; I kept having trouble reading it, due to the small letters and choice of colors, so I just plugged the device in, and it responded quite nicely to the remote. I made better progress with a magnifying glass, and then downloaded their new app, not necessary for using the unit, but it will be easier for me to read. I am particularly interested in customizing some messages; I don't often wish to tell people where to go anymore, though informing someone they drive like a cabbage might be warranted in certain situations.\nThis is a worthwhile device.
